New construction homes can still have hidden insulation issues. These issues can affect how your home feels, energy use, and long-term home quality.
You may notice uneven comfort from room to room. It can be caused by gaps or weak insulation during construction.
Even a new build can have high energy costs if insulation is not done right. Air can escape through walls, ceilings, and floors.
Some parts of the home may feel drafty even when windows are closed. Air leaks can reduce overall comfort.
Noise from outside or other rooms may be more noticeable. You may hear traffic, neighbors, or household sounds more clearly.
Poor insulation can allow moisture to build up inside walls and ceilings. Moisture problems can affect long-term home health.
Some areas of the home may feel fine while others do not. Uneven insulation coverage can create hot and cold spots

We highly recommend Compass for your insulation needs. We had the spray foam application done during our home's renovation. Anyone who goes into the attic space remarks about how pleasant it is working in there. After a roof replacement we needed some areas touched up. Jeremy and his staff were easy to work with and took all the necessary precautions to protect our home during the application.Posted on Google![]()

This company spray foamed my house attic and they did a great job. They also did a great job removing the old insulation with large vacuums. I highly recommend this company for your home or business insulation needs. You will have the option to reinsulate with your existing insulation or spray foam. I recommend spray foam. Much better. However, the spray foam is a lot more expensive. About 3x the cost of reinsulate. In my opinion, the extra cost for spray foam is worth it.Posted on Google![]()

New construction insulation is the installation of insulating materials in a building that is being newly built. It is placed in walls, ceilings, attics, and floors before the home is finished to improve energy efficiency and comfort from the start.
Common options include fiberglass batts, blown-in cellulose, spray foam, and rigid foam boards. The best choice depends on the design of the home, budget, and energy efficiency goals.
Insulation is typically installed after framing, electrical, and plumbing work are completed but before drywall is placed. This ensures all cavities are properly sealed and insulated.
Insulation is commonly installed in exterior walls, attics, ceilings, floors above unconditioned spaces, and sometimes interior walls for soundproofing.
Yes. Insulation can significantly reduce noise between rooms and from outside sources, especially when installed in interior walls and floors.
The timeline depends on the size of the project and the type of insulation used. Most residential installations are completed within a short phase of the overall construction schedule.
