BOCA RATON APARTMENT PROJECT

Nestled on the waterfront of the intracoastal, this project was recently completed by Compass Insulation at 875 East Camino Boca Raton. The owner bought two apartments adjacent to each other to combine into one large apartment and was very concerned about sound transmission and insulation. The exterior walls were insulated with Fi-Foil VR Plus Shield providing a R-7.1. The interior walls were insulated with a combination of 3" Mineral Wool Acoustical insulation inside the wall cavity covered by a DB3 Rubber Sound mat to further deaden the noise.
