Is Your Pole Barn Making Work Harder?

A pole barn should protect your building, equipment, and work space. Without proper insulation, heat, cold, and moisture can create problems that impact your daily work.

Extreme Heat and Cold

Pole barns can get very hot in summer and very cold in winter. These large temperature swings can make the space hard to use and less comfortable for workers.

High Energy Bills

Without enough insulation, heated or cooled air can escape. Your heating and cooling systems may have to work harder to keep the space at a consistent temperature.

Condensation and Moisture Problems

Temperature changes can cause moisture to build up on cold metal surfaces. Over time, this moisture can lead to rust, water damage, and other building problems.

Damage to Equipment and Supplies

Extreme temperatures and moisture can affect tools, machinery, stored goods, and other items inside your pole barn. This can lead to unexpected repair costs or replacements.

Uneven Indoor Temperatures

Different parts of your pole barn may have very different temperatures. This can make it harder to keep the building comfortable.

A Space That Is Hard to Use

Heat, cold, and moisture can limit how you use your pole barn. An unusable work space can make normal tasks harder for everyone.

We highly recommend Compass for your insulation needs. We had the spray foam application done during our home's renovation. Anyone who goes into the attic space remarks about how pleasant it is working in there. After a roof replacement we needed some areas touched up. Jeremy and his staff were easy to work with and took all the necessary precautions to protect our home during the application.

This company spray foamed my house attic and they did a great job. They also did a great job removing the old insulation with large vacuums. I highly recommend this company for your home or business insulation needs. You will have the option to reinsulate with your existing insulation or spray foam. I recommend spray foam. Much better. However, the spray foam is a lot more expensive. About 3x the cost of reinsulate. In my opinion, the extra cost for spray foam is worth it.
