Could Your Pole Barn Work Better for Your Business?

A pole barn should provide a safe space for your business needs. Without proper insulation, outside temperatures and moisture can affect the building that affect how you use the space.

Hot Summers and Cold Winters

Without proper insulation, pole barns can become extremely hot or cold. These large temperature swings can make the space difficult to work in and uncomfortable for your team.

Rising Energy Costs

Poor insulation lets indoor air escape and outdoor air get in. Your heating and cooling equipment may have to use more energy to keep the space at a consistent temperature.

Moisture and Condensation

Warm, moist air can meet cold metal surfaces and create condensation. Over time, this moisture can lead to rust and damage to parts of the building.

Damage to Equipment and Supplies

Extreme temperatures and moisture can affect tools, machinery, stored goods, and other items inside your pole barn. This can lead to damaged items and added business costs.

Inconsistent Temperatures

You may notice hot and cold spots throughout the building. This can make it harder to keep the building comfortable.

A Less Usable Work Space

When a pole barn is too hot, too cold, or damp, it may not work well for storage, work, or daily business needs. An poorly insulated building can make daily work more difficult.

We highly recommend Compass for your insulation needs. We had the spray foam application done during our home's renovation. Anyone who goes into the attic space remarks about how pleasant it is working in there. After a roof replacement we needed some areas touched up. Jeremy and his staff were easy to work with and took all the necessary precautions to protect our home during the application.

This company spray foamed my house attic and they did a great job. They also did a great job removing the old insulation with large vacuums. I highly recommend this company for your home or business insulation needs. You will have the option to reinsulate with your existing insulation or spray foam. I recommend spray foam. Much better. However, the spray foam is a lot more expensive. About 3x the cost of reinsulate. In my opinion, the extra cost for spray foam is worth it.
