Is Your Pole Barn Making Work Harder?

A pole barn should help protect your equipment, supplies, and work areas. Without proper insulation, heat, cold, and moisture can create problems that affect how you use the space.

Hot Summers and Cold Winters

Inside temperatures can change quickly when a pole barn is not insulated. These large temperature swings can make the space hard to use and harder for your team to use.

Higher Heating and Cooling Costs

An uninsulated pole barn can lose the air you pay to heat or cool. Your heating and cooling systems may have to run longer to keep the space at a comfortable temperature.

Moisture Inside the Building

Warm, moist air can meet cold metal surfaces and create condensation. Over time, this moisture can lead to moisture damage and other costly issues.

Damage to Equipment and Supplies

Extreme temperatures and moisture can affect tools, machinery, stored goods, and other items inside your pole barn. This can lead to unexpected repair costs or replacements.

Hot and Cold Spots

Some areas of the building may feel much hotter or colder than others. This can make it harder to keep the building comfortable.

An Uncomfortable Work Area

Extreme temperatures and moisture can make your pole barn harder to use for work and storage. An uncomfortable building can make normal tasks harder for everyone.

We highly recommend Compass for your insulation needs. We had the spray foam application done during our home's renovation. Anyone who goes into the attic space remarks about how pleasant it is working in there. After a roof replacement we needed some areas touched up. Jeremy and his staff were easy to work with and took all the necessary precautions to protect our home during the application.

This company spray foamed my house attic and they did a great job. They also did a great job removing the old insulation with large vacuums. I highly recommend this company for your home or business insulation needs. You will have the option to reinsulate with your existing insulation or spray foam. I recommend spray foam. Much better. However, the spray foam is a lot more expensive. About 3x the cost of reinsulate. In my opinion, the extra cost for spray foam is worth it.
